Information is collected either through a digital questionnaire or through face-to-face interviews. The deliverable includes an overall maturity score and a score for each dimension. Findings are presented in a dedicated debrief meeting with decision-makers.

How long does an AI audit take and how much of our team's time does it require?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the format. The fastest option is a digital questionnaire sent to contributors, which takes around 15 to 20 minutes per respondent depending on their role and scope of responsibility. Information can also be collected through face-to-face or video interviews of around 30 minutes.

Which package should we choose between AI Essential, AI Impulse and AI Transform?

Accepted Answer

The choice depends on your maturity level and your ambition. AI Essential (CHF 900, one day) suits leaders of organisations with fewer than 5 employees who want immediate direction and a first maturity score. AI Impulse (CHF 6,500, one month) is designed for companies ready to co-build an AI vision with their teams, and includes generative AI training, an initiatives workshop and a twelve-month roadmap. AI Transform (CHF 2,500 per month over twelve months) is for organisations that want to delegate full AI programme management, from design to deployment, with adoption tracking and KPIs. A company can start with AI Impulse and move up to a higher-tier format later.

What happens after the audit, are we committed to continuing with you?

Accepted Answer

No. The audit and the roadmap are standalone deliverables: they remain the client's property and can be executed in-house, handed to another provider, or continued with Xperience AI. This absence of lock-in is consistent with our technology neutrality: the value of the roadmap does not depend on who implements it. Subsequent phases, such as AI agent development, training and project management, are the subject of separate proposals.

How much does AI audit and consulting cost for an SME?

Accepted Answer

At Xperience AI, prices are public and fixed: CHF 900 for AI Essential, from CHF 6,500 for AI Impulse, and from CHF 2,500 per month over twelve months for AI Transform. Our pricing is designed to remain accessible to SMEs. The price is agreed upfront as a fixed fee, which allows an SME to budget the framing phase precisely before committing to any technology investment.

What return on investment can we expect from an AI engagement?

ROI is not declared at audit stage. We produce an initial gain / effort / risk assessment when building the roadmap, and ROI is then built initiative by initiative. For each identified use case, our method quantifies the expected gain (hours freed up, additional revenue, error reduction, cost savings) and the required effort (implementation cost, licences, change management), then calculates a payback horizon. This makes it possible to discard initiatives that look impressive but are not profitable, and to focus resources on quick wins and strategic bets. In our clients' context, our calculation assumptions point to a potential ROI on the AI programme of 5x to 10x over three years.

Do we need clean data or a data warehouse before starting an AI project?

Accepted Answer

No, and waiting for perfect data is one of the main causes of inertia. Many high-value use cases, such as assisted writing, document search, administrative task automation or document analysis, do not depend on a structured data warehouse. The audit clearly separates initiatives that can be delivered immediately with your existing setup from those that require a data prerequisite, and places the latter further along the roadmap. Data quality nevertheless remains one of the dimensions assessed in the maturity score, because it determines predictive use cases.

Yes, and this is often the stage at which it becomes most useful. Individual use of consumer tools produces real but scattered gains that are unmeasured and sometimes non-compliant, a phenomenon researchers refer to as shadow AI. The challenge is no longer access to the technology but its integration into processes, data governance and results measurement. The MIT NANDA report The GenAI Divide: State of AI in Business 2025 found that 95% of enterprise generative AI pilots produced no measurable impact on the profit and loss account, with the main cause being organisational rather than technological.

How is our confidential data protected during the audit?

We can sign a non-disclosure agreement before any engagement begins. Documents shared with us are limited to what the diagnosis strictly requires, hosted in environments whose location is disclosed to the client, and deleted at the end of the engagement on request. Where the context requires it, the audit can be conducted without transferring any real data, based on interviews, process descriptions and anonymised documents. Our data processing practices are set out in our privacy policy.

How do you ensure our AI projects are compliant with regulation?

Compliance is built into the framing phase rather than addressed afterwards. Each initiative on the roadmap is assessed against the applicable legislation: the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) in Switzerland, the GDPR whenever processing concerns individuals located in the European Union, and the European Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation EU 2024/1689) for companies placing AI systems on the EU market or using them there. High-risk use cases, particularly in human resources, are subject to a dedicated analysis of obligations and mitigation measures before any development starts.

Is an AI system operated from Switzerland covered by the EU AI Act?

Accepted Answer

Potentially yes. The AI Act applies extraterritorially: a company established outside the European Union falls within its scope as soon as it places an AI system on the EU market, or when the output produced by that system is used within the EU. A Swiss SME selling in France or handling files for European clients therefore needs to assess its exposure. We carry out this assessment during the audit.

How does your approach differ from that of a large consulting firm?

In three ways. Independence first: we do not sell technology, which is what gives our advice its value. The point of contact second: the senior consultant who sells the engagement is the one who delivers it, with more than twenty years of experience in digital and AI transformation within large groups. The end goal third: we deliver a roadmap that can be executed with the client's actual resources, and our recommendations are actionable with or without us. This operational proximity is our main differentiator in French-speaking Switzerland and in France.

Are you independent from AI solution vendors?

Yes. Xperience AI is technology agnostic. We work equally in cloud or on premise, via API or open source, in code or no code, depending on the client's security constraints, budget and internal skills. This independence is what makes our solution selection and tender management credible, where our role is to defend the client's interest when dealing with solution providers.

Do you work in Switzerland and in France, remotely or on site?

Yes. Xperience AI is based in Meyrin, in the canton of Geneva, and works across Switzerland, particularly in the French-speaking cantons (Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Jura), as well as throughout France and internationally. Training sessions and co-creation workshops are preferably held on site to maximise team buy-in, while the diagnosis and follow-up can be conducted remotely.

There is no size threshold, but there are conditions. A small organisation usually gets more value from a short format focused on individual tooling and task automation.
